My wife and I spent Easter bank holiday weekend at Durban House and this was our second visit. I was greeted on arrival by Jacquie and given a gift of beautiful home baked muffins and two freshly laid eggs which is a lovely touch. I was able to pick my pitch and shown which ehu to use. Having been before, there was no need to show me the facilities, although I was given a welcome letter with all the essential information in it. The facilities were spotlessly clean and very well maintained throughout our stay. The grass is nicely mown and the cuttings are removed so there's no clumps of cut grass. We had sheep in the paddock along with their lambs which were great fun to watch. This site is a fantastic base for exploring the Humber estuary and we cycled from North Ferriby over the Humber bridge to Barton upon Humber and back. There are some great byways and quiet country lanes for cycling adventures and we had a lovely walk along the river Ouse about three miles from the site. If you forget any equipment or need a spare part, there is a very well stocked shop at the nearby caravan sales in South Cave. There is a convenience store in the next village less than one mile away for provisions and a larger supermarket in Brough. The East Yorkshire coast is within striking distance as are Hull, Beverly and York. We had a little trip to the York designer outlet just 35 minutes away. All in all this is a great site and a credit to the owners Jacquie and Barry, and we fully recommend it to anyone considering a peaceful break in this area.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely, exceptionally well maintained Adults only site. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and tidy and the owners Jacqui and Barry Hunter are a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. We were greeted with wonderful muffins and eggs, a lovely touch thankyou Jacqui. We will definitely be back soon.

Lovely site. Very good, modern facilities, idea for the winter conditions with hard standing for all pitches. Jacqui & Barry made us extremely welcome, greeting us with complimentary fresh eggs and two freshly baked muffins for our breakfast. Poppy the dog was also very welcoming, especially if you had a dog biscuit or two in your pocket. The site is ideally situated for visiting Hull, Goole, Beverley, York etc. We loved nearby Howden with its guided walks & blue plaque trails. We will certainly be staying on this site again.

We stayed early September. We were made very welcome by Barry and Jacqui. Great facilities and very handy for the ferry terminal at Hull. Good base to explore Hull, the city of culture this year and also York. There are plenty of points of interests in between. Would recommend most highly and will be visiting again. Delicious muffins and eggs!

Review submitted to the Camping and Caravanning website April 2018. Lovely quiet little site, Jaqui and Barry made us feel very welcome, and offered help if we needed as we've just up graded to a caravan. The facilities were spotlessly clean and very well organised and local information was available on site. Our dogs were also made welcome, (just a suggestion) it would have been nice to have an area for exercising the dogs inside the site, instead of going up the main road to the walk down the lane. we will definately be back, thank you.
